Open Position: Part Time Retail Sales Associate

Wild Cactus is currently looking for a reliable individual to join our team as retail sales associates at our Portland, Oregon boutique location.This is a part time position, weekend availability is a must. 

Responsibilities include:

- Opening the shop on time, customer service and making sales in a small boutique setting

- Processing transactions through our Shopify POS system, handling cash, processing returns, pulling online orders, shipping online orders

- Maintaining product floor merchandising, restocking products, brand & product knowledge 

- Styling & assisting customers to help find what they are looking for

-Assisting with marketing & content creation tasks

- Processing shipments, inputting into inventory, steaming

-Being accountable for your assigned shifts

-Communicating clearly with management

-Assisting with store events

- Creating a drama free, positive work environment for our team

Skills & Qualifications:

- 1-2 years previous retail experience, preferably in a small business or boutique setting

- Helpful, positive, friendly demeanor

- Must be willing to work independently and complete all tasks asked of for the day

- Must be willing to be flexible with schedule based on needs of boutique

- Must be able to work weekends and around the Holidays 

- Experience with Shopify is a plus

- Must have previous employment references to provide

Pay rate will be discussed during the interview process. We offer an hourly rate + commission, sick pay & an employee discount. This is a position of growth within the team.
